Action

I’m not content with idleness

but I must learn

not to be fooled

by inactivity that’s masked as motion —

things to do that don’t make any difference,

loopings of the mind that don’t go forward

In due respect

for source and power,

I must recognize

that Mind achieves its ends

and is the only cause of all my action

When Spirit moves,

the waters all move also,

immediate, decisive,

everything as fluid

as the thought comprising it,

everything responsive,

everything accomplished —

this is the model

for all I am to do.
