Fruition

This is a time of closing of the arc,

not as in a downward fall towards death,

climax past,

but as integrity of structure,

in which the strength is realized,

and all the flyaway, forgotten hopes

of many years

now have a place

to weave themselves back in,

to form a vessel

that can hold

all these sweet fruits.
