trying to steer the course,
bruised by my blindness,
and my effort, and my faulty tools
I acknowledge
that I am neither judge nor maker,
but can be guided
by the light that powers my being,
strong and steady, and clear enough
to bring exactly what I needed
even if I didn't know it yet.
